Crispy and tender air fryer salmon bites glazed with a sweet and spicy honey sriracha sauce. Perfect as a snack or appetizer, these salmon bites are quick to prepare and packed with flavor.
1 pound salmon fillet, skin removed, cut into 1-inch cubes
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
In a medium bowl, combine the salmon cubes, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Toss gently to coat the salmon evenly.
Place the salmon bites in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they are not overcrowded. You may need to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
Air fry the salmon bites at 400°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking to ensure even crisping. The salmon should be cooked through and slightly crispy on the outside.
While the salmon cooks, prepare the honey sriracha sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, sriracha sauce, soy sauce, lemon juice, and remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil until smooth.
Once the salmon bites are cooked, transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the honey sriracha sauce over the salmon bites and gently toss to coat evenly.
Transfer the glazed salmon bites to a serving plate. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped fresh cilantro if desired.
Serve immediately as a flavorful appetizer or snack.
