Quick and flavorful air fryer salmon bites glazed with a tangy balsamic reduction. Perfect as a healthy appetizer or snack with a crispy exterior and tender interior.
1 pound salmon fillet, skin removed, cut into 1-inch cubes
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon honey
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
In a medium bowl, toss the salmon cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
Place the salmon bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not overcrowded. You may need to cook in batches.
Air fry the salmon bites at 400°F (200°C) for 7-8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking to ensure even crisping. The salmon should be opaque and flake easily with a fork.
While the salmon cooks, combine the balsamic vinegar and honey in a small saucepan over medium heat.
Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the liquid has reduced by half and thickened to a glaze consistency.
Remove the balsamic glaze from heat and let it cool slightly.
Transfer the cooked salmon bites to a serving plate and drizzle the balsamic glaze evenly over them.
Serve immediately while warm.
