Garlic Parmesan Cheese Fries

Crispy golden fries tossed in a savory garlic butter sauce and topped with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley. A perfect indulgent side or snack that’s bursting with flavor.

Ingredients

Scale

4 large russet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch thick fries
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
4 cloves garlic, minced
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons fresh flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, toss the cut potatoes with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
Spread the fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they are not overlapping.
Bake the fries for 20-25 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
While the fries are baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
Once the fries are done baking, transfer them to a large mixing bowl.
Pour the garlic butter over the fries and toss gently to coat them evenly.
Add the grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley to the fries and toss again until well combined.
Serve the garlic Parmesan cheese fries immediately while hot.
