4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup chicken broth
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear the chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes on each side until lightly browned. Remove from heat.
In a medium bowl, mix together softened cream cheese, chicken broth, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
Place the seared chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
Pour the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chicken.
Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
Carefully remove the chicken breasts from the slow cooker and place on a serving dish.
