Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Place the trimmed asparagus spears on a baking sheet in a single layer.
Drizzle the olive oil evenly over the asparagus.
Sprinkle the minced garlic, kosher salt, and black pepper over the asparagus.
Use your hands or tongs to toss the asparagus gently, ensuring each spear is coated with oil and seasonings.
Spread the asparagus back into a single layer on the baking sheet.
Roast in the preheated oven for 12 minutes, until the asparagus is tender but still crisp.
