Ingredients

Scale

1 English muffin, split
1 large egg
1 turkey sausage patty
1 slice cheddar cheese
2 slices tomato
2 slices avocado
1 leaf romaine lettuce
1 teaspoon unsalted butter
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and cook the turkey sausage patty for 4-5 minutes on each side until fully cooked and browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Crack the egg into the skillet and cook until the white is set and the yolk is cooked to your preference, about 3-4 minutes for over-easy. Season with salt and black pepper.
While the egg cooks, toast the English muffin halves until golden brown.
Place the slice of cheddar cheese on the hot turkey sausage patty to melt slightly.
Assemble the sandwich by layering the bottom English muffin half with the romaine lettuce leaf, turkey sausage with melted cheese, cooked egg, tomato slices, and avocado slices.
Top with the other English muffin half and serve immediately.
