3 pounds beef top round roast, trimmed
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 cup beef broth, low sodium
2 sprigs fresh rosemary
2 sprigs fresh thyme

Instructions

Pat the beef top round roast dry with paper towels.
