2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 medium apples, peeled, cored, and chopped into small pieces
1/4 cup water

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until well combined.
In a large bowl, beat the sugar and vegetable oil together until smooth.
