Ingredients

Scale

4 tilapia fillets (about 4 ounces each), skinless and boneless
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 large eggs
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
In a separate shallow bowl, beat the eggs until smooth.
Place the panko breadcrumbs in a third shallow bowl.
Pat the tilapia fillets dry with paper towels.
Dredge each fillet first in the seasoned flour, shaking off excess.
Dip the floured fillet into the beaten eggs, coating completely.
Press the fillet into the panko breadcrumbs, ensuring an even coating on all sides.
Lightly brush both sides of each breaded fillet with olive oil.
Place the fillets in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they do not overlap. You may need to cook in batches.
Cook the tilapia in the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 10 to 12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fish is cooked through and the coating is golden brown and crispy.
Remove the fillets from the air fryer and let them rest for 2 minutes before serving.
