Cheesy Chicken Dorito Casserole with Nacho Cheese

A deliciously cheesy and crunchy chicken casserole layered with Doritos and topped with creamy nacho cheese sauce. Perfect for a comforting family meal or game day snack.

3 cups cooked chicken, shredded
4 cups Doritos, crushed
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
1/4 cup diced green onions
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
Fold in 2 cups of crushed Doritos and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese into the chicken mixture.
Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
Spread half of the chicken and Dorito mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
Sprinkle 1 cup of crushed Doritos evenly over the first layer.
Spread the remaining chicken and Dorito mixture over the Dorito layer.
Top the casserole with shredded Monterey Jack cheese and the remaining 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
Drizzle the nacho cheese sauce evenly over the top of the casserole.
Bake uncovered in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the cheese is melted and golden.
Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
Garnish with diced green onions before serving.
