A decadent and easy-to-make dessert featuring layers of rich chocolate chip cookie dough baked into a warm, gooey casserole. Perfect for sharing and satisfying your sweet tooth.
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Fold in the semisweet chocolate chips evenly throughout the dough.
Spread the cookie dough evenly into the prepared 9×13-inch baking dish, smoothing the top with a spatula.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 10-15 minutes before serving warm.
