Air Fryer Shrimp Burger

A delicious and easy-to-make air fryer shrimp burger featuring crispy shrimp patties served on toasted buns with fresh lettuce, tomato, and a tangy mayo sauce.

Ingredients

Scale

1 pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
1 large egg
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 hamburger buns
4 leaves romaine lettuce
4 slices tomato
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Instructions

Place the raw shrimp in a food processor and pulse until coarsely chopped but not pureed.
Transfer the chopped shrimp to a mixing bowl and add panko breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Mix all ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each into a patty about 3 inches in diameter and 1/2 inch thick.
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
Brush each shrimp patty lightly with olive oil on both sides.
Place the shrimp patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they do not overlap.
Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the patties are golden brown and cooked through.
While the patties cook, mix mayonnaise, lemon juice, and Dijon mustard in a small bowl to make the sauce.
Toast the hamburger buns in the air fryer for 1-2 minutes or until lightly browned.
Assemble the burgers by spreading the mayo sauce on the bottom bun, adding a leaf of romaine lettuce, a shrimp patty, a tomato slice, and then topping with the bun.
Serve immediately.
