Ingredients

Scale

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup carrots, peeled and diced
1 cup broccoli florets
1 cup bell pepper, diced
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 cup beef broth
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
2 cups cooked white rice

Instructions

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or pot over medium-high heat.
Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the pot and cook for 2-3 minutes until the onion is translucent.
Stir in the carrots, broccoli florets, and diced bell pepper. Cook for 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender.
In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, beef broth, and grated fresh ginger.
Pour the sauce mixture over the beef and vegetables. Stir well to combine.
Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly and the vegetables are cooked to your liking.
Serve the beef and vegetable mixture over cooked white rice.
